Artistic design for the Historical City Information installation in the former Franciscan church in Lutherstadt Wittenberg.
About the project
The Historical City Information installation is located in the former Franciscan church. After the tomb of Elector Rudolf II was discovered in 2009, the site became a permanent presentation of the Ascanian dynasty and its importance to Wittenberg.
Lighting, dissolves and projections give the history of the site a spatial form. Karl-Heinz Steck was responsible for the artistic design of the installation.
